Since the end of the semester draws ever closer this battle is really just going to be a glorified practice. This way anyone who wants to study for finals can still come out with out worrying about when the person who drove them is leaving.
It will be in the oak grove on Saturday December 12th, at 12 until people leave. please bring a bit of money, as we intend to order pizza as a group.

i know this is right before finals week and alot of us need to study, but this is the perfect way to relax before hell week. come out, beat on your friends and say your goodbyes for the next month, and get pizza

Really? Not to say this isn't a bad idea, but shouldn't the battle focus on trying to get more money for the winter event? As long as Maeth isn't footing the bill for the pizza and it's a Maeth money free event it's a good idea. But the realm shouldn't be paying for the pizza, everyone really should be splitting it between themselves.
Right now do you guys have any ideas on how to turn a profit for this event.

If everyone is to bring some money for the pizza, and the "Realm" is Maeth....and the people ARE bring money to split the cost of pizza, then, arent they doing exactly what you suggest? Right now do you guys have any ideas on how to turn a profit for this event. seriously, dude, chill out. Let the new admins try some shit before you go all postal on their asses. Right now, with the cost of a pavilion at Blue Spruce being $50. I dont know if made a profit at the event in october or not, but if we did i think it was only because Nova put in $40 of her own money. We really didnt have all that many people show up. So we couldnt have made so much on that. Plus the cost of the hot dogs, buns, drink, cups, plates, condiments and stuff like that. Then we gave away $25.
The way i see it, we can either go cheap on this a bit. (A bi-monthly doesnt have to be glamorous or anything.) Or we can go cheap on the winter event. If we put out the money for the pavilion and all the food and stuff, we would have to hope to at least make it all back. If we dont then that is less that we have for the winter event. Personally, the Winter Event is more important to me right now than a bi-monthly event that we only have 20-25 people attend. I think october we had 24 or something? not positive.
So if we charged $4 per person for a bimonthly, 25 people thats $100. $50 for pavilion, down to $50. Also minus the hot dogs, waivers, buns, cups, napkins (i dont want to list everything.) but that is $50 at least close to it. And if we give away another $25.
I think if we go the way we are going, in the oak grove, we will be just fine. But thanks for the concern.

or you could do it the way I paid for my 4 semesters at IUP. have a kegger, charge $3 a head...just remember to check IDs, as that fine is a killer...

I think it's a fine idea, and I know i lost, hence why I'm not trying to do anything. The only thing is i'm worried that we have enough money for the winter event. I haven't seen or heard any early details on this bi-monthly so i was simply asking some questions. Also so I know what I need to have/bring to the event to participate.
The direction the new admins are taking is a fine one, and I'm really happy to finally be out of everything. Seeing as I am still a member, and a member with a bit of experience I'm just asking questions for which I'd like to get answers and I'm sure other people are curious.
Izad made a great break down so far of everything and I'm sure they have a handle on things. I'd just like to get some more heads up on what's going on as far as admission, food and what-not.
