So I know a lot of people keep talking about having different training sessions; well I was wondering if anyone actually wanted to start doing something about it.
I was thinking (just now) that we could do something on Saturdays. it would be on an As Scheduled basis, but maybe we coul dhave different people teach basics about different weapon forms.
I for one would love to learn how to fight with a red weapon... it seems to be the one form I have most the trouble with. Anyone interested in doing something some Saturday?

No one has actually told me that they would GO to a gathering where we watch the fighting tutorials, and I'd love to start working with the girls again.

well... i dont have boobs....well not the good kind, but when you get back we could set up something at the house... maybe liza would let us use her computer to put the movies on the tv

That's actually what friday practices are for specifically. Saturday practices aren't much of an option becuase that would put some peopel at three days of practice straight.. I know we are machines in Maeth but we do have our limits. And through the warmer months we are going to start doing more stuff on saturdays.
With advanced notice that is.

As a side note on Mero's post, my experience in getting people to meetings and actually doing something constructive comes from getting them out of the Sword House. I'd be happy getting a room at IUP for us to do something like that in.
There would be lots of potential for a small meeting like that. But again, i'd keep people away from the house, because then they just come to hang out instead of do something.

I don't know, I got people to make those arrow heads with no problem, but that was only a small group.
Yeah, a room at IUP would be best. I'd really like for people to get together and be productive more often, Fae, Vors and I sew and foamsmith in the honors college quite a bit, and I'm sure there are plenty of things people need to get done.

It's definitely easier to motivate yourself when there is a whole group of people trying to get stuff done. Order of Tauren gets together Tuesdays and Thursdays to make shields, weapons, armor and what not. If everyone has the weapons they want/need then they make more for the unit armory.

I'm gonna learn to make lots of weapons and have like 20 swords, clubs, and like 3 shields and stuff!
