i do have off April 4th, though. I'm shooting a wedding that day... So, now I guess we have to determine when we are inspecting weapons, and what scenarios we are fighting. To be perfectly honest, I don't care if we do the same stuff we always do, as long as we have the theme going. And by the way, if the Nightstalkers are going to divide for this to make it an even matchup, we'll have to make this a totally separate story line from the Mog invasion, otherwise it won't make sense that some Nightstalkers are fighting to keep the Urks in control of Maethodoron.

They could just be bodies for the battle, not necessarily representing Nightstalkers (since this is Fellowship vs Urk Kuldar anyway).

True. That will be up to them.
The most important thing is that I want this to be fun. If it turns into 4:1 odds, it won't be.

Hehe 4:1 is always fun for the first battle! But only if you are the one and the 4 are all new people! But I digress, yes we should just be bodies for the killing (save me because I'm with the fellowship on this one). Can't side with orcs just can't do it. And besides i'm not allowed to not represent Maethodoron!

how does this sound for a set of battles?:
Castle battle (3:1 against Fellowship)- Kill count battle (50). Orks must go up the “causeway”. If an ork can get into the castle and hit the Fellowship’s res point, then a small portion of the wall becomes another attackable entrance. Fellowship can shoot arrows and throw rocks and javs over walls. No weapons can reach each other over the castle “walls”.
Winner gets their choice of a magic shield or magic red in next battle
Capture the city battle (2:1 against Fellowship)- move on knees to city because of “distance”. Both teams have “horses” to allow for fast movement to the city. The team to have all their fighters in city while entire opposing team is res’ing wins.
Winner gets whichever magic item wasn’t chosen for the next battle
Opposing Monarchs (even teams)- each side gets a king and marauders attack the opposing king. If one king dies, the other must still make the full loop to get a point. Resurrect at your king, even if your king is dead. First team to make the full loop 3 times wins the battle
Winner’s team gets full armor in next battle
Causeway Battle (2:1 against orks)- If not using a shield, you don’t die when you fall in the water but you cannot climb up the opposing bank but there can be fighting in the water. Win holding the opposing side of the bridge for a minute.
Winner gets one res per person in next battle.
Hilltop battle (3:1 against orks) – Orks defend the “hill” on all sides. No Res. Fellowship gets no projectiles, shields or armor (if you’re wearing it just don’t count it). Win by killing the whole side.

only problem is with the last part if one has armor one should not be penalized no shields is fine but to not count armor if you have it is just wrong. my 2 cents

Yeah, I'ma have to agree, Either say no armor permitted, or let them have the armor count, but the rest sound great,

the idea is to balance out the numbers. its going to be 3:1 odds with us automatically surrounded. its the end of the war, the shields have been shattered and armor is beyond repair and use. you get to count your armor all day except that one battle.

I understand that, but we should probably give people time to get their armor off.

they can take it off if they want. it wont be one battle directly after another, we'll want some break time between each battle. i just mean if you dont want to take it off then just ignore it
