would be nice for the pens to do well this year and win the cup but i think thy need to get there first, boston and philly will be tough, in the west i dont think anyone can stop san jose unless its the redwings. good luck to the pens fans, but in hockey its all good all the time.

to be honest, I'm more affraid of the Caps and Boston than Philly. the past few years we seem to really dominate them. my prediction, Pens beat Philly in 6 games.

Pens over Flyers in 6. Then Pens get knocked out by Boston. WIngs and Bruins in Final. Bruins in 7

oh how sweet it is, 4 to 1 over the Broadstreet Bastards.
btw, the Bruins are still uncertain of their goalie, if they have any big weakness it is him.

Pens are a good team, not the best ever. They play too much of the "run-and-gun" style. Granted, they have the guys that can do it, but that isnt how to survive in Playoff Hockey. You need the "grinders", they have a few, Guerin, Kunitz, Kennedy, Orpik, but thats it. Crosby and Malkin are big, fast, young guys, but they will fall apart vs one of the older teams, like NJD. When the Devils start playing that infamous neutral zone trap, the pens run and gun game will fail. That s all on the assumption that Devils make it past the Rangers which is kinda a 50/50 chance right now. Both of those teams are playing "their" game.

i don't know whether to hate philly fans for their obnoxiousness, or love them for their persistent stupidity. after last night's 3 to 1 win over the flyers, it should be pretty obvious to most that chanting "Crosby Sucks" simply motivates him to work harder. especially considering that he has tallied for points in all games in the series, and the goal he scored last night should reinforce my theory. although, even after he scored, the crowd still couldn't figure out that taunting him usually results in their team losing. thus, the pens lead the best of seven series 3 games to 1. ah, the sweet smell of victory.

the drama continues, and it's only going to get more intense now that the hated Flyers are too busy with their tee times to worry about ice times. if you're not into hockey, now is the time to start. this is the premiere match up featuring sid, geno, and ovechkin. these three are going to put on a show just due to their incredible talent, not to mention that ovechkin absolutely despises geno, seriously he has tried to kill him on the ice. those weren't checks he was throwing, they were assaults with intent. fortunately, geno always managed to dodge them at the last second, but expect the head-hunting to continue. and if i haven't made it perfectly clear by now, it's going to be a good one.

Game 1= Caps G2=Pens G3=Pens G4=Caps G5=Pens G6=Pens so, again Pens in 6 also, Geno will fight AO, causing a 4 on 4 which the Pens will score on, I predict itll be Guerin

i agree, this is going to go to at least a game six. but, if geno hasn't fought ovechkin by now, especially considering what has happened during the regular season, the chances of it now are slim to none. although, it would be a good fight. more probably, ovechkin will pull his normal crap and it will be sid going after ovechkin.

If I was going to make a soundtrack for what was one of the best playoff series in modern history, I'd have to start out with the music playing during the end of Episode I. You know, right when it's most dramatic, Anakin is about to blow up the droid control ship and Obi-Wan is just about to fall to his death before putting a serious woopin' on Darth Maul? And, that would play for a really long time because the whole series was like that. right up until the end. then, the song quickly switches to the Bee Gees with Stayin' Alive.
