i HATE hardcore role players. i can understand sticking to a few personality things but not talking like we're actually there. it just confuses everyone when we're trying to plan and converse w/ non PCs

I hate metagamers. They make it WAY more confusing, especially when they SAY they are doing something to interact with your character, then you react and they suddenly decide that they never did anything. There's a guy in a campaign I'm in that does it, I want to twist his balls off with needle nose pliers.

I hate the other extreme even more. Having to make up rules for the ridiculous in character shit some people try to do.

Yeah, but some of that is funny at least. I don't like role playing Nazis, but I'd rather have a campaign be a little role play heavy.

Talk about dumb shit, all the guys in my 3.5 campaign had to roll for penis size on diplomacy and intimidate checks (1d4 for girth, 2d6 for length) Our Gnome was a ruttin' tripod. And i almost got the party killed off by peeing on corpses

Figured id mention since theres alot of Firefly fans in maeth that there is a pretty badass looking RPG called Serenity where you roleplay the crew and go on adventures like them. havent played it yet but it looks pretty good and theres only 2 books to it, but they're like $30 each
