I was not sure where to post this, so i shall post my question here. My name is Will, a former amtguard warrior who fell out of the sport some time back. After settling some things i have decided i want to return to the sport, but this time to play where it started, Dagorhir. I also have a few former warriors that fought with me in amtguard as well as some new blood who wish to start. Which brings me to this, if you are looking for some new warriors we want in, but i do need your boffer layouts, as i am sure you sword make is diffrent from what i used to make. Plus i did read your practice times, but i would like to confirm them, do you still play fridays and saturdays? sundays dont matter cause i usally cant make em. A good way to get in touch with me would be via email as i am more likely to check that then forums at this point in time, so please respond to Talonvoren@aol.com. I look forward to a favorable response.

easiest thing to do is show up to the practice area on fridays and wait for people. if no one shows up, oh well, but if they do, you get some practice in

We always welcome new fighters out! However, I wouldn't advise just showing up on Fridays. We haven't been getting much of a turnout on Fridays lately. I would suggest keeping an eye out on the boards and/or letting us know when you are interested in coming out. Otherwise, you could be wasting a trip for nothing, and I speak from experience, standing around and waiting to see if anyone shows up for practice is a pain in the you-know-what.
We don't usually do much on Saturdays, but we can make an exception if it's your only day and you want to fight.

hmmm, well fridays and saturdays are my only days i have of free time, and the fact that i live three hours away would be a waste if no one showed. ill will keep a look out around your board to see when you all will be there, i may show up then.

What area do you live in? There may be a chapter that's closer to you. Not that we're turning you away or anything, because you're more than welcome to make the drive, but three hours is a bit of a haul for anyone. There is a chapter in Pittsburgh (Angaron) and West Mifflin (Ithaca), and Angaron has units in Grove City, Geneva, Edinboro (I think), and Erie. We have a unit that's forming in DuBois (and possibly Altoona?), and Johnstown, Bedford, and State College all have smaller realms, although they seem to be difficult to get a hold of. There are also realms in Ohio, West Virginia, New York, Maryland, and Virginia, so we're surrounded by other groups.

Wow, that is a bit of a haul! Actually, you're really close to Aratari land. We're about 3 hours away, but Baltimore is only an hour and a half from you. There are a groups ALL OVER THE PLACE down there, especially around Washington, D.C. (where Dagorhir started). Not that I'm trying to discourage you from joining up with us, but it would be a shame if you drove for three hours to practice with 10 people, when you can drive an hour or so less and fight with 30.

Harrisburg is my area, an from what i gather, you are infact the close one, thus far. The Metro Philly area is closer, Taurendor (I may have mangled the spelling). During the school year the group at State college is going to be fairly close. I heard about a group that was talking about forming in Gettysburg. I don't know how that panned out and they may be a seasonal group I heard meantion of the college when ever I read about them.

Let me know if you want to go to a Taurendor event or practice!

Taurendor Eh? well, i have talked to my crew, and this is what they have decided. Either group works for them, but they wish not to go anywhere until they are properly outfitted and geared. I agree with this statement, so as of right now we will stay freelanced until our house gets in order. Nova, my email is Talonvoren@aol.com send me updates on when your group meets, hopefully we can make one and soon. our website should be up in the next couple weeks and if there is any information requested about us send it to my email, i check those first. Thank you for the time, it has in fact, helped.
