other than being an hour away, i'd allow drinking parties at my place. i would check ids though, nobody under 21 parties with me.

thats the problem with alot of our members' places. either you cant drink at all there or we cant risk the underagers for career purposes

thats the problem with alot of our members' places. either you cant drink at all there or we cant risk the underagers for career purposes exactly, my career is much more important to me than some kid who wants to get drunk. so important, that if i did have a party, underagers wouldn't even be allowed to attend. |

yeah, its not worth the risk. maeth is welcome to visit Whitmyre any time we need to make alot of garb, weapons, have meetings, etc. it just wont be a party place

While I endorse the idea of some group activity to bring us all together, the parties were starting to die out even when we still had access to Nicky and Liza's house. I've been on the wagon for a month now, so drinking is a moot point to me.

i think apart from camping events, drinking parties arent gonna happen much in maeth, not that we particularly have alot of people who drink alot anyways. those over 21 can meet at bars and such but other than that the younglings dont have a place to do it, not that they really should.

I did want to have a few parties or gathering or whatever you want to call them at my place, but I'm going to get approval from the room mates first, and the only people allowed to trash my place are Araduin and Tiradora! so there!

who ever said it had to be at a house? if the weather is nice the outdoors can be our home! the oak grove or that mountain side that the school owns, or even where we have the winter event would be a good place. everyone brings food or drinks, board games are easy enough on picnic tables. we could even do target practice with throwing knives and axes or arrows if we can get good targets and bales of hey

if its owned by IUP, drinking is illegal there. im pretty sure our winter event site is a dry area.
non-drinking parties arent the issue, nor is finding a place that people of age can drink. its for the underagers that "never ever drink in maethodoron". i think that we're just gonna cut out the younglings for any drinking stuff cause we have people who's careers are endangered by underagers drinking around them and in general dont want to risk people (Tibby) ratting.
