This survival kit has just enough stuff in it to kill you. While the small, compact size of this kit may be appealing to some its contents may lure an inexperienced person into a false sense of security. I could go into this in more detail but it would take to long. Make sure you a take a GOOD signal mirror and emergeny blanket with you as well. You can pick up U.S. military type signal mirrors on the web or at gun shows. The emergency bag you can pick up at outdoor sporting goods stores. They are inexpensve.
THE COMMENTS ARE GREAT!

I just thought it was a neat idea. Maybe that guy is just promoting his gun shows and stores.

No no, It is pretty cool! I've done a lot of wilderness survival trials, most of that is stuff I'd like to have and could make use of.

some version of it is always a good thing to keep handy. I learned how to make something similar during the two months in 5th grade that i was a boy scout. only lasted two months because I don't do well with taking orders, especially from schmucks that have no real authority, but think that they do. sorry, went on a rant there.
anyways, a better alternative would be to create a "bug-out bag". it's basically a backpack version of a survival kit. it's not as practical as something that you can put in your pocket, but i'd rather have something and not need it, than need it and not have it.

yeah, for the amount of camping most of us do, especially when we're fighting or drinking, and at more likely risk of injury, its better to have the whole bag than just a little thing

Ha ha, we don't do wilderness camping, you'd be hard pressed to find yourself in a wilderness survival situation at that camp in somerset. I think the worst situation you can be in is an empty drinking horn.
