I have looked through the rules in the General and the Weapons catagories on the Dagorhir site. I cannont find anything that would keep me from making the type of club i want to make. The rules say about 12" striking surface but what it says is "Blue swords must have a minimum blade length of 12". It doesnt specifically have anything about clubs or maces. That i saw. Maybe i did miss something, i dont know. But does anyone know how i could safely make a Knobkerri? I would like to have one just to keep as a backup. I think it would be fun. It would be treated as a blue club. suenostudio.com/images/SuenoEMW21-1.jpgthat is what i want to make, but i want mine to be Dag legal. Any ideas?

They are technically legal. Some weapons checkers will give you shit for it though. And remember, when you eliminate that much striking surface all your opponent has to do it get passed your first attack, then you will be much slower unless you can choke up on your weapon real fast, you also have eliminated a LOT of striking surface making everything else courtesy padding. There was a thread on the national forums about this a few months ago ( www.dagorhir.com/forums/index.php?topic=16045.0 ) it's a bit long, and not conclusive, but it will give you what you need to know so that you can refute any attempts to fail your weapon.
