I randomly came up with a concept for a dagorhir video game. these are my ideas thus far.
Weapons
Sword & board/ two weapon- analogue sticks to control weapons and shield. Shoulder buttons control throwing wraps, fakes, etc
Red- both sticks must move at same time for red, 1 stick for blue.
Armor- buy in a shop, disappears after first blue hit.
Archery- 1 stick draw bow, 1 stick aim. Strength meter- halfway mark for closer targets (shooting over half draw at certain range nulls the attack)
Greens- shoulder button makes weapon thrust (only if equipped stabby tips). One stick to aim, one to use power. Hold 2 shoulders to double green
Rocks and javs- FPS mode
Movement- D-pad
Shield kicks- only useable with specific button against mid to large shields
Hits- actually lose limbs, computer decides what is good.
Epic death- long button combo. Hit it and you get instant res and death doesn’t count against you
Character design
Fully customizable character bodies
Design garb with a certain base set and buy more as game goes on
Stats- based partially on weight/size/etc and part on ~20 free points you can assign. Limits to stats based on size. Speed, def, off, learning speed (tightens accuracy of movements), etc
Buying stuff
Store to buy garb, armor, weapons. Can buy base materials and make your own stuff. Minigames to make stuff from patterns.
Get money based on winning tourneys, killing people, and achievements. Lose money based on deaths and random events like broken weapons, and camp raids
Bosses
At specific points in the game, there will be bosses ranging from local heros to national veterans to whole units at once

*Dominus
*Warthog
Losing gets you nowhere but there is no penalty. Win and your fame goes up and you get a big cash increase (increases depend on how many times you tried before winning the challenge)
Challenges:
-Duels
-Beat a whole unit
-Follow the leader (throw the same shots)
-Winning battles/tournaments
