pretty good for Paint, looked better than i thought it would. i think i'm sticking to my carpet tape though. just makes it more repairable

Nicely done, Dev is too lazy to make his tutorial, and he doesn't really have much time, ^_^

hey, did you hear about that thing that has nothing to do with this topic?
but seriously. once someone in maeth makes a decent stabby design, we could tag that on. Magnus has nice ones but i'm not sure how he did it...totally just dawned on me to ask him...

OOOOOOOH! Once I figure out how to get the materials (some of them are slightly more difficult obtain apparently) or figure out a good substitute I'll add the stabbing tip tutorial for this type of sword.

It's easier to make weapons with more unusual shape this way. I made a sabre. It's sexy.
Now I'm going to see if it works with carpet tape, too. You know, for the repairability.

Finished. I haven't ever owned a camera or i would post pics. I now have a nice pair of...well calling them sabers or scimitars would be way too much credit. I have a pair of butcher knives. hahaha. But they feel decent and hopefully are dag-legal so we'll see how they work out on sunday! Also, i have the mats to make my red, but the 1/2" pvc i have is probably gunna flex too much. Any suggestions?

4.1.11.9 - Any weapon with a wooden core must have all wood covered with tape.
Just keep that in mind, not like you wouldn't have to wrap it to make it snug anyway... really it shouldn't be much of a problem if it's already covered by PVC but should it splinter the tape will be there to add some support.
I know some of the red weapons Order of Tauren has use bandshop pole for core, but the only specific example I can recall is Glaum's galive.
