Now that I think of it, Eoin's red is a very nice weapon, I'm not sure what he used for core, but perhaps it's worth finding out?

...i'm not touchin' that one...
but yeah, when i made my first red, it was just 3/4" pvc with 3/4" dowel stuffed up it. granted it broke but thats cause i had 2 seperate pieces instead of 1 longer one, and cause i trusted fabio not to break it
