I want to make a round pomel. am i just going to have to make a cube and round it up or is there a better/easier way. If memory serves, i do believe Izad has a round pomel on his club. anyone know how he did that/ Izad, how did you do that? hahaha

i didnt make the club, Nova did,i made them on my sowrds though and from what i understand the best way to do it is this. Cut two "caps" octagon shape. put one on top of the other and tape them over on your pommel padded end of the core. it would turn out round. But when you put the tape on, pull it tight as you do it and remember to anchor it with tape as well so it doesnt get wobbly.then you should be "good to go." as it were.

yeah just about 1 inch or so, just cut it out in strips, bevel the opposite ends. like the bottom end of one and the top of the other end. that way, it lays flat on the core and when you get it wrapped around, it lays flat on itself. then cut out your two "caps" whatever size the bottom of it is. Just make sure that it wont fit through a 2" hole. or else it wont pass inspection.

You'll need ~13" to wrap around a core.
