I am trying to set up a trip to go to a practice at Vailnor. Its in State College. Somewhere on Pollock Road. its about 2 1/2 hours from me and Im in Greensburg. And about 2 hours from Maeth. Thats all i know right now.

I dont know when IUP comes back from Spring Break but Valinor comes back on March 15th. So i was going to try to go down sometime soon after that but before Gates of Fire. I can probably take 3 maybe 4 people with me. And i would like to take a variety of weapons. All i would need is gas money to help go back and forth.

Their practices are on Sundays from 1pm-4pm. so i would need to be there around 11 to pick people up. And i would like anyone who goes to be in garb to represent Maeth in a positive manner. And of course we have follow their house rules as well as Dagorhir rules.

if anyone is interested let me know and we can get this set up with the interested Maeth members and i can get in contact with the Valinor crew.

right now i have Cyrus, Vors and Rynnt going. I might be able to take 1 more, it depends on if i can get my girlfriends Blazer or not. If i cant then this will be all i can take. But other people are more than welcome to drive a 2nd car or something and take more people. But it will be $10 a person for gas since its so far, that means $10 there and back. Not $10 each way.

no more takers? we may have a 2nd car going to this if we can get enough people for it to be worth a 2nd car. But we dont want to volunteer it unless we get enough interest for it to be worth it. And besides, wouldnt it be worth it to get out of Indiana for a day and meet some new Dag members?

Hey guys!

We at Valinor would absolutely love to have any of you who feel like coming out, on whichever day that happens to be. If you don't have a preference, we could just try to pick the one with the best weather. I bring all my weapons to all our practices, so we will have a few extra swords and axes available (though most of my stuff is homemade and kinda weird. If you have any standard stuff, especially shields, it wouldn't hurt to be able to show our other members what average equipment is like). We generally have a minimum of five people at practice, since it's winter, but I'm getting word out to our more sporadic members and we will hopefully/possibly have a bit better of a turn out on whichever day you choose.

Aaaand... oh! To make sure you find us okay, there are two things you should know. One is my phone number, which is 6089632796. I'll answer and say "Hello this is Jesse," but really I'm Magpie.

Aaaaaaand, that's all I can think of for now. I wish I could host a feast for any of you who come out, but I sadly cannot at this time. I mean, we could all go out to eat, or we could order a few pizzas, or something. Or if you're lucky some of us might make cookies.

I really like this idea, and I can gain a lot by fighting others outside our realm, however I'm not sure that I can go (at least to this first one if you guys decided to do this again). (For example, if you guys are planning to visit on the next available Sunday when we get off from break, I'll be at home taking care of some important stuff I have to do. Besides, as of right now I technically don't have any weapons, nor will I have any cash on hand, which doesn't help.)

i have some loaner gear and the guys up there will have a few. we're still not entirely sure when we're going. Lucius just said hed go depending if hes free the weekend we go.

I just read back through the posts and realized that i never told anyone the dates on here. But we are looking at one of 2 Sundays, both in March. Either the 21st or the 28th. Which one will be decided on when the majority of people are able to go. And weather conditions. Its starting to look a lot better out so we might not have to much of a problem with that. But we need to have the majority of us and Valinor people going out that day. So we need to take into account their numbers for each day too.

Alright, UPDATE. Since some of us are going to the Lothlorian Season Opener on March 20th we are going to set a solid date for the Valinor practice. We are going to try to go to Valinor Sunday March 28th.

This date was chosen because the Lothlorian Season Opener is March 20th and our other date for Valinor was March 21st. So instead of having people drive a long distance 2 days in a row, we are going to go the week after. So to be clear, Valinor trip is Sunday March 28th.

This is going to be a couple weeks filled with events and such. Lothlorian March 20th, Valinor March 28th MODIFIED by myself, forget that last part if you read it. that might be why the next few posts dont make sense to you.

if i remember correctly, lucius said something about us not being able to do the 3rd. dont remember exactly what it was, but hopefully our admins can get us some solid details
