So i was cleaning out my closet and found an old pair of wooden crutches. i took one apart and decided that if i put the two parts together, they should be strong enough to use as a core. i want to use it for a new sword because the curve in it looks pretty darn cool, and it should be long enough to be a red if i add a stabby and a pomel that extends a bit further than the core. nice and light as well.

Make sure you securely secure the two parts together, that there is no metal in them, be very careful if there are any holes in the part you are using. And as always when dealing with wood don't be a boar wrap your core.

i forgot about the holes and how they compromise the integrity of the wood. oh well, a pitchfork short spear would be an acceptable use.

they dont compromise too much. if you do a pitchfork you have to be careful that a weapon or limb cant get caught in the open spaces
