On Monday Mason and I are hosting a foam smithing party at 400 Malibu drive in the Copper Beech complex. Bring some cash and we could perhaps order a pizza or two.
What you will need:
Dap (found in the adhesives department of walmart, one can will last you a long time)
Blue foam (found in the camping aisle o walmart- but make sure that it is not egg crate!)
A Yard stick
Duct tape
Fiber glass fence post or PVC for your core (or your core of choice)
Carpet tape
A good razor knife or box cutter
Pantyhose (sword cover)
We'll just pop in a movie or something and make a couple of swords, come over whenever you like after about 10 am (We're both very tired from field school, sleeping in would be awesome)

Hey speaking of is anyone going to be around to take charge of a couple of 6' bandshoppe poles on saturday. Right now they are sitting in my storage locker on the north end of Indiana and moving day is Saturday at some point. I really don't need four of them since I'm moving to a small apartment in Pittsburgh so I figure I can part with two of them and still have enough for any projects I decide to take up.

Hey, if I can find the Copper Beech complex, I will try to walk over. [guess I better mapquest it]. Also, I am thinking about making a small punch shield, but I'm not quite sure on all the materials I would need for it, other than the duct tape and blue foam and some sort of core piece?
Also, I had a question upon garb that I thought I could ask about on that Monday as well...maybe.

I'll be able to come--I just need to finish my painting by Sunday night, and get the materials (which I can do on Saturday). Ah, just one question: where is Copper Beech, exactly? 'Cause I ain't got no clue. -Phrog

Cooper Beech is the townhouse complex behind the Martin's grocery store.

if by chance you could swing through the Vanderghetto and pick me up, we could work on finding fabric for the BS and together see how the PD mixes
