i couldnt remember when this event is, so i figured i would start this thread for it.
Do we want to make a small community weapons bag to use just for this? Just like maybe 2 flails, 2 swords or something like that. If we want people to get interested i dont want them to just sit there and watch everyone else fight if they actually want to try.
OK.......discuss.

we have the loaner bag which will need some repair but thats just a matter of taking the time and money to do it. i have a few weapons that i can loan but they will only be for that event because technically it is in the SFK Armory and therefore only usable by Urk Kuldar. Skree intends to have a shit tone of weapons but i dont know if he'll loan them. we could easily have all our fighters in the area chip in some cash as a realm to make some new loaners. but i dont think we'll loan out archery stuff cause its the easiest to break and the most expensive. it would be nice to have a few loaner shields, just really cheap, small things like that round punch shield Cyrus made, and we dont really need shield core because you can make a good sized coreless punch out of blue foam (takes alot more foam though)

its just not reasonable to loan out your personal stuff in case someone breaks it and there is that risk of someone swiping it. but i think its first week of sept cause i'm helping freshmen move in Aug 27-28 which means upperclassmen moving in that sunday so not many people will be there that day. the sunday after, sept 6th, will have all our veterans and any new fighters we can recruit

Usually the welcome back is the first weekend that students return to IUP, which is why we do a really hard push during orientations to bring people in. that means those of you in Whit this year will be hitting up the HC the hardest because that is where we get most of our new recruits from. I'll be pushing overall townies, unfortunately the only person we have in the highschool is Tatt now so pickings will be slim from the community. i have a few leads that i've been working on trying to get us some new units. What weekend is move in?

august 27-30 but most of our newly christened vets will be moving in that sunday so the first weekend of Sept is really our best option.
