Hey, I made an account on here because I couldn't find email addresses that were valid and whatnot. I'd like to join your chapter of Dagorhir and was wonder how one might go about doing such a thing.

I tried that one but it either didn't go through or he hasn't read it yet. Or chose not to respond. lol. I showed up last sunday but no one was there. I also wandered over a few minutes ago and there was no one there. I read that there were practices on Fridays as well.

I wasn't there myself last week so I can't speak for that. But we just had an event that Saturday so usually we blow off the following practice.

That makes sense. I was reading all the rules and stuff, and unless you guys already have one I'd be interested in being a healer. My character is a wood elf druid so it would kinda fit, and all my characters on a couple games (WoW, Diablo II, etc.) are healers or as close as possible.

Trollbane. I have an lvl 80 epic-geared holy pally, a lvl 60 resto druid, and was working on a frost death knight for shits and giggles. I cancelled my account though because I stopped having enough time for it.

Hahahaha. Nice. I was in a pretty small decent guild. Had friend one of the top realm guilds and raided with them sometimes, usually got 2nd highest heals per second and last overheals. HealBot helps alot though :-P

healers really dont do much because its kind of complicated
6.10. Healing : Heralds will announce healing at the beginning of the battle and identify all healers. 6.10.1. The Healer cannot heal her/himself or their own equipment.
6.10.2. To heal a person, the Healer must be in direct physical contact with the injured person.
6.10.3. A healer may not heal a person while either are under direct attack.
6.10.4. A Poem of Healing must then be recited or read aloud. The minimum length of a poem of healing is 180 syllables and must be approved at weapon check-in.
6.10.5. When the healer completes his poem, all wounds and items are healed or repaired (i.e. armor, bow, shield, etc.)
6.10.6. If the Healer or injured person is attacked or distracted, or contact is broken for any reason, the entire Poem of Healing must be read or recited again.
6.10.7. Healers may only heal one person at a time.
so it takes a long time which often ends in getting killed, and its hard to stay undistrac- ooh look a bunny!!
chances are you wouldnt be just a healer either. pretty much everyone on the field is a combatant even if they're an archer, healer etc. we had an event last saturday which likely explains no one being out sunday. this weekend should have more people out on sunday

Yeah this past sunday's practice was lame. In the fact that there wasnt one. The only people that showed up were, Me and Kenshin. Akiragona and Mason showed without weapons so there wasnt much reason to do anything. We called it a day at around 2:30. We should be out this coming sunday since there wasnt anything else going on.

Yeah, I read the rules. I'd have to practice a shitload to not get distracted and whatnot, but I think I could do it. And I fully expect to be a combatant, although I was a bit disappointed that Dagorhir doesn't allow quarterstaves because you can't accurately determine their damage. But if someone can help me sometime in the future, I'd like to make a pair of sabers and a lochaber axe.
You guys practice in the oak grove, right?
And are there any rules about facial jewelry? Because I have spider bites but would be ok with taking them out for practices and battles and whatnot.
