Official Site: www.einherjarsvalhalla.com/ragnarok/ragnarok.htmlRag forum (national forum): www.dagorhir.com/forums/index.php?board=15.0We need to decide together whether we will be camping by ourselves. I don't know exactly how land grab is working this year, but we really need to decide on something: Taurendor, House Dregoth, and all the Kensman are thinking about camping together because if more of them pre-register together they will get to pick a better, larger, shadier spot to camp in. We have been invited to join in on this deal. Here's the problem, if issues arise and Maethodoron (or any other group) wants to stop camping with the large group land grab (and this is the only thing I know about it thus far) is set up in such a way that if your camp moves you get moved to primitive camping. That means no water, no electric. I would hope that no issues arise, and I don't think they will but we need to figure out if we want to camp with the others (we will have separate areas within the camp for each group) or not. I think we need more than 5 members to go if we want our own camp and whatever camp you pick stays your camp forever.

Looking forward, however, this year is more likely than ever for me to attend Ragnarok.

It really is a blast! I've gone the last two years and with Rag being so close this year you could practically day trip it! i would suggest just camping though, WAY better.

This does sound like it would be a lot of fun, but because of the set dates, I may not be able to attend.

me and Izad have been talking about going. i'll be in contact with my klan about it. being that its so close this year i think we'll have no problem getting at least 5 realm members to go and camp and even more to day trip it. if you pay for the week then you can more or less come and go as you please as long as you have your tag a believe, because people have been known to stay in motels instead of camping.

hahaha. well i'm pretty geeky so when I do something like dagorhir, i usually go all the way. lol. and on that topic, it says on the rag site that they want beverages carried from camp to camp in period vessels (or something to that effect). Could i just spend $10 bucks on a coleman bota bag at walmart? It's pretty much just a wineskin with a plastic screw top instead of a cork. would that be considered a "period vessel?"

I'm going to tell you now that no one strictly uses period drinking vessels unless they are like Alric or Magnus or someone. The point of the period drinking vessels is to prevent generating copious amounts of trash. People drink straight out of the bottle most of the time, but if you want people to be able to pour into your drink get a ceramic mug, or, my first drinking cup was a metal toothbrush holder that looked like an urn. I have a drinking horn now.
The water bag would work, but I'd go for something that a drunk person can pour into.
