not sure if anyone else has experience with camping at Cooper's, but I have tons. first rule of camping, DO NOT camp up on the flat open part of the campgroung known as the Serengetti, or "Forge of the Gods" at Pennsic. You will not be able to sleep past 8 at best before you are roasted out of your tent. Instead, camp in the lower level areas known as the Bog or the Swamp. they are much cooler due to all of the tree cover.
for areas, i suggest going to pennsic.net and looking at the site map. areas i recommend are: W10, W13, E15, or E13 in that order.

i know me and my fighters will camp with the orks if we go so dont count us as maeth in terms of camping. as soon as we get back to school we can get a better number of who can go and who cant.

Do the Bog and Swamp flood bad if there is rain? depends on where you are. I highly recommend W10. I camped there once. the land is nicely shaded and very flat with lots of room for tents. plus, it's only a short walk up the hill to the battle fields or the camp store. it's seriously premium realestate.

I'll have to compare the rag map to the pennsic map, some of the land won't be offered.... -_-'

that's understanbable considering that Rag is no where near as large as Pennsic, but if the map is somewhat the same in reference to the bog and swamp areas, then the area marked out for W10 should be at least offered at Rag.

Sadly I will not be able to go to the full week of Rag this year, I will be attending field school this summer however, I'll be day tripping it or something like that.

Im up for Rag. Not sure what to do about camping though. As i have never been to a Ragnarok, i have nothing to base a decision on. But i know, since we never get a lot of Maeth people out to Ragnarok, it would be nice to camp with some people i know fairly well.

I plan on going the full week of Rag and I have been to Rag once before out in Ohio. So if you plan on camping make sure you have plenty of provisions and its much better to camp as a group becuase they do lots of fun stuff as groups, so get a few who will be there the whole week to set up an area for the realm.

Hey Nova! I'm also attending field school this summer! And if you day-trip it, maybe it may be possible for me to do that also....[although I have no transportation].

SURE! Destinova said that if he goes he would be willing to pick me up, one extra person could do no harm!
