Oh and speaking of me making things with PD I contacted Wynar about commissioning a pair of javies from him and he suggested it would be better/more cost effective if I did the actual build while he provided technical advice and experience. So yeah as soon as I figure out where I can find heated and ventilated work space I'll be securing the materials I need for that.
Mainly I don't think I am that creative a foamsmith I just pay attention to what others are doing and see if I can pull it off myself.
And yes I do know how to edit my posts I just am lazy.

that would be a great idea, but what exactly do you have in mind that fits in the EPIC catogory?

we'll have to discuss. i want something that brings in our creativity, mine and ryntt's foam sculpting, and you and eoin's plastidip skill.
i was personally thinking of making my "Body Weapons"- severed arm flail, severed leg red, head rock, and torso punch shield. and imprinting personal symbols for all 4 of us on the weapons

its gonna be hard to move in ridgid leather. if you could make it more articulated then you'd be in better fighting shape

okay, good news. i just checked, it won't restrict my movement that much, so we're good. i'll probably change it up alittle to be more bendy. now that im done sweating and my pulse has returned to normal. Vors, why did you have to scar me like that, not that it couldn't have been fixed, but still. i just tripped over half my house checking it.

Trim it so there no binding then soak and shape it. Also carve details.

the one is cut nearly perfect, the other still needs fitted. is there anything wrong with putting it on and get in a pool or shower to soak it? haha Im thinking of what design to go with, but i can't make up my mind yet.

Get a bucket. Submerge it until there are no more bubbles. Shape it over something shaped like your body but that isn't your body. Let it sit on that object until dry. Congratulate yourself on having water hardened a leather back and breast.
There is a way to get it even harder using an oven. It's slightly more involved.

I've done smaller leather molds, bracers, greaves, that kinda stuff. this should be easy.

i think it would look good to form it, slash out the klan symbol with a razorknife, and paint the colors on it.
