New sword that i'm just now making the finishing touches on, my first PD attempt. Be as honest as possible when judging it. (yes, there is a sock on one of the pics, my room has since then been cleaned. i was just extremely lazy that day)

56' overall, 37' blade, 14' handle. and yes its a stabby. its the same design i used for Gingerbreads sword, only i thinned the blade down since his turned out like a log.

how thick are the ends of the handguard? they need to not pass more than 1/2'' through a 2" hole (i think thats the right size)

56 inches overall? Nice... What's your blade and don't say pvc because I'll just reply with flex/enjoy your one time throw away sword.

its actually really well made. tested it last sunday. very little flex. only problem is the cover slips sometimes, the stabby needs support, and the handguard is too thin to pass the hole test

the core is fiberglass so no need to throw away. and i fixed the cover so it won't slip. Im also at the moment working on the handguard to make it pass. and i fixed the stabby so it won't rip off.
p.s. Praise the Amish!!!!

awesome. stabbies have a habbit of needing to be replaced fairly often so hopefully its not TOO secure

well theres more to testing than just hitting to hard Absolutely. You have to take the sword out for a nice dinner, you have to go to a theme park with it, you have to vandalize some buildings with it...and don't get me started on the written exam. Brutal.

It should pass, just stating in my own unbias opinion. Im not sure though so i'll let you decide on sundays practice, I should have a sheild done by then too.
and to also include, i did take it out to dinner, it was actually quite delightful, the roasted orphan was particularly impressive.
