thats actually not a bad idea. in general it will help us if the people we have to deal with are dealing with the same maeth members the whole way through the pocess instead of having to re-explain things to the new admins Right this way the faces people deal with don't change even if the people making the choices do. Plus having a detailed account of events always makes a turn over of the helm go smoother, it's like the first rule of watch standing, give a detailed turn over report. |

Look yes their are personal issues that are being brought into Dag and I think that is completely wrong, especially because I have been a victim of it. I always keep my life separate from Dag but those I considered friends until they decided they were too good for me are too immature to do so as well.
As for telling me not to say something about this being an exercise in futility, shut the hell up. I have been in the forefront of trying to change things all summer.
I was the one who spoke up about the internet issues.
I was the one who tried to come up with a compromise about it.
I was one of the first people to ask for elections.
I tried to talk to people and put ideas out there on how to run the elections.
Don't ever say I'm not involved or that I don't care because I do. I am dedicated to this realm 100%. I do have the time and I will give the time and effort needed to planning organizing and running events. Otherwise I would have never put my name in for Event Supervisor. Don't ever say that I don't care about maethodorn.
If you ask me to help I will help, if I know something is happening I will find a way to help even if I have to work that day I will find another time or way to do something. All I do is work, I don't have classes so I have the time I'm just never told about anything.

I will probably be running the elections. If you have any issues with that speak now.
If you are afraid I wouldn't be impartial enough then you are wrong. I can't explain it more than that.
I urge people to be chill, basically all I've been waiting for is the "ok" sign here from Mercaine and I'll get it going.
But I'm not going to overstep my own authority and just start them because we were talking about them you know?

Well then someone should nag him instead of you. I'm willing, but I think it might be more prudent for someone else to. But I will if someone asks. Mostly because I don't think he checks the boards often enough to know that we're waiting for his agreement.

Elections will start next Sunday (the 8th) at 2:30pm (when practice starts) and end a week and a half later on Wednesday the 18th at midnight. We will be using a secure online voting site made specifically for this purpose. Each voter will be given a voting key to use for the ballot (DO NOT lose it). Prior to the election anyone who is interested in voting will have to submit an email address to me, your voting keys will then be emailed when the poll opens.
Feel free to submit your email addresses to me now (especially if they are different from your registered email on this forum) I will save them for when the polls open.
