Yes, you will be able to get a ride that will be no problem! We are able to use Araduin's place for this, it's just a matter of getting a day to set down and do this. I'll start collecting peoples shields.

its a nice idea of having the identical shields, but is there a chance of us redoing the ones that got beat off (heh heh) at practices? the paint we used didnt last long so i thought we could ask other realms how they get their cover art to star on.

I think we could just respray them for now. Yeah spray paint on fabric isn't going to hold up to a beating me thinks.

By either sewing another piece of fabric on or painting by hand.

id think that doing it in sewed fabric would be easiest. we have alot of people who know how to work a sewing machine who dont mind the job, and could be payed if they so desired. the gold fabric wouldnt be too expensive either, its just a matter of making a pattern for it

We can easily re-spray paint the shields or find a fabric gold spray paint. That would work well also. As for sewing I don't think you understand the simple man hours that went into making the other shield covers, to do an entire 180 and remake them all would be nearly impossible. Maeth dropped a lot of money on those covers and will keep the ones it has until we have either an easier or better method.
As it stands no one would be able to be reimbursed for their time it's a "donation" hence the "non-profit" group thing. We don't have the money to throw around especially after we dropped that much on the originals.
We should continue our efforts moving forward with the covers we have re-painting the ones that need touched up and helping new members (that we will have) make their new covers and shields.

Sewing them on does takes longer, especially since the Maeth symbol is rather intricate, however, hand painting wouldn't be too bad, get fabric paint, tape down the stencil we have made, put a good layer of paint on and move on. Also, if all goes well I will have been transferred to the Micheal's crafts and so we can buy the fabric paint there for a 25% discount.

The stencils are gone. They got torn up in our garage and I had to throw it away. Someone should take better care of the next ones.

I figured they'd eventually die. However, that's not a problem considering we have shield covers in good shape still with which we can make new stencils. No problem at all, this week i'll get a new one cut out. Probably use two layers of the card stock display boards instead of one. Then I'll keep them in my storage for dag stuff.

that should work. and i'll actually be able to get the gold on my new shield. just be forewarned that it will also be covered in ork logos soon. i think i'll do the big red ork face then have the gold tree done over it to represent each side of my loyalties
