Shield Cover Colors and Symbol

Hey Everyone,
We've been talking about having more uniform looks. One idea was a uniform shield cover for all Maeth fighters who use shields (and belt favors across the board).

I'd like to know what people would like to see as the shield cover, keep in mind the design has to be simple and the colors should stay stark and visible!

I'd like votes here these are the most common visions of our tree and shield. If you have an "other" please explain.

These are going to be in the form of elastic shield covers made to fit individuals shields. We'd like everyone to pay some money (less than 5 dollars) to cover the cost of making these covers (considering plenty of time and energy will also be going into them) The belt favors will just be made (if we do those) from the Maeth fund.

I think this is something we should definitely do. Discuss and vote!

Actual Maeth colors are:

A Navy Blue Field Containing the white/silver shield outline (or circle).
Inside that is a Royal or REgular blue Field with the green tree. Burnt Orange swords under and a burnt orange diamond (losenge) in the center.

That's what colors our heraldry actually are. All white in our heraldry is actually silver.

FYI thats also an option i forgot to put on. That's really the blue and green option

I really think it does, and not many groiups use a black and gold design.... Fucking steelers. But beside that. It'd be a black field with gold tree swords and shield. on the center of whatever shield shape it is.

Note: The color that wins (I'll lock this after probably a week or so):
I will gladly be the first person to change my shield cover over and wear the symbol.

I will help make the covers, but I will not be changing my shield cover, I have to have it fit my unit and my house.

To Nova's problem:
The covers are elastic so they can come off and on as needed. However, I've prepared for this.

If we make these mandatory for events we'll allow for people who are in units that require a shield symbol. However, usually they are flexible, as long as you could have the Maeth tree (and maybe swords) on your shield somewhere it would be also just fine! Most units should be flexible with that. (But remember we're also going to do belt favors too so if there's a super problem then you'd just have a belt favor!)

To avoid problems within Maeth at this point, i'd say that if you create a unit under our realm from this point on, you are not allowed to make an absolute requirement on your shield that does not include the maeth heraldry! I think that's a fair rule! Or when you fight with us you put on your removable cover!

Hmm, I COULD make a new cover that black and put the silver T on as well as the Maethodoron Tree, but it would probably end up being in silver.

I don't have my sewing machine here or anything, and my shield is still in my dorm... so I can't even use Devaryn's. Boo.... Anyway, I asked Dev, and having both symbols is A-Okay.
